How Long Can I Have the Bin For?

We allow seven days for you to fill the bin, however, you may request bins to be collected earlier. If required for longer periods of time, extra fees can be negotiated.

How Full Can the Bin Be?

Due to strict transport-SA rules, bins must not exceed the brim or the water line (level full). If bins are overfilled, the driver is obliged to remove the excess prior to bin collection.

How Far Ahead Should I Order the Bin?

Usually, the day beforehand is sufficient, however, it is best to call 2 – 3 days prior to your requested delivery date to ensure bin sizes are available. In most instances, we can provide same-day delivery, provided you ring early.

What About Concrete, Brick, Soils and Tiles?

These need to be quoted at the time of ordering the bin. We generally only allow concrete, brick or tiles to be placed in a bin on their own and to not be mixed with other general waste. If the removal of these items as well as general waste is required, it’s best to order two bins so the waste can be separated.

What About E-Waste?

There will be an extra charge applied if you wish to dispose of E-waste including, TV’s, computer laptops, scanners and printers.

What About Mattresses?

Mattresses can be placed in the bin. There is, however, an extra charge of $20 per mattress. This is to cover the levy set by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency).

What Can't I Put in the Bin?

Absolutely NO car tyres, liquids, such as old paint cans, asbestos, toxic waste or gas bottles are to be placed in the bin. This is a requirement of the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency). If any of the above are placed in the bin, we are unable to move the bin from the property until they have been removed.
